Abel Tasman National Park, 6 - 11 October 2014

Escaping the worst of the weather with a long drive to Abel Tasman National Park.
Day 1: From Marahau to Tinline Bay, then on the Abel Tasman Inland Track past Holyoake Clearing Shelter to Castle Rocks Hut.
Day 2: A visit to the nearby Castle Rocks, then on to Porter Rock, Moa Pass Shelter and along Evans Ridge to Awapoto Hut.
Day 3: Centre Peak, Pigeon Saddle, Gibbs Hill and Whariwharangi Hut.
Day 4: From Whariwharangi Bay to Separation Point / Te Matau, then Mutton Cove, Anatakapau Bay, Anapai Bay and Tōtaranui, with a loop on the Pukatea Walk. From Tōtaranui Beach along the Abel Tasman Coast Track to Goat Bay, Waiharakeke Bay and across the Awaroa Inlet to Awaroa Hut.
Day 5: Past Awaroa Lodge (with a side-trip on the Wetland Walk) and over Tonga Saddle to Onetahuti Beach, then Tonga Quarry, Bark Bay Hut, Sandfly Bay and across Torrent Bay to Anchorage Hut.
Day 6: After a side trip to Pitt Head and Te Pukatea Bay, back on the Abel Tasman Coast Track to Stilwell Bay, Apple Tree Bay, Coquille Bay, Tinline Bay and Marahau.
