Bowen River, 15 - 16 May 2010

We walked to the head of the Bowen River, a steep-sided hanging valley that drains into Milford Sound. In spite of the good weather, the southern aspect and the steep mountain walls deprived us of any sun. The valley is a sponge! Party: Aaron Whitehead, Lara Wilcocks, Danilo Hegg
